Lisa Hebden is a figurative oil painter living in Victoria, BC. She works from drawings, photographs, memory and ephemera to make paintings that have a sense of otherworldliness to them. She is facinated by narrative, which carries over into the paintings: something is always happening beyond their surfaces.
